A shooting operation at Ramot Junction in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday left at least seven Israelis dead and 20 others wounded, according to Israeli media reports.
Reports indicated that the Palestinians who carried out the operation boarded a bus at the Ramot junction and opened fire on the passengers.
One of the shooters was reportedly disguised as a police officer, as he boarded a bus and started shooting from point-blank range, Israeli media reported, citing eye-witnesses.
The shooters’ identities are not immediately known, yet Israeli media claimed they emerged from the towns of al-Qubayba and Qatnah, prior to the operation.
Meanwhile, Israeli police said they were examining a suspicious object left at the scene of the operation, adding that all roads leading to al-Quds have been blocked.
