Head of Hezbollah’s International and Arab Affairs Ammar Al-Moussawi affirmed on Friday that the Lebanese resistance group never regretted operations in support of Gaza.
In remarks addressing the 34th Arab National Conference in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Al-Moussawi stressed that the Lebanese resistance movement conducted anti-Israel operations in support of Gaza “because we believe in the legitimacy and righteousness of this cause.”
“We do not regret our decision. We consider this decision as one of the most honorable and noble ones taken in the history of the resistance” he stated at the conference.
The top Hezbollah official said Hamas’ Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023 was a reaction to the Israeli oppression, hailing the epic steadfastness of the Palestinian people throughout two years of genocide.
Al-Moussawi blasted the US over its support to the Zionist entity, noting that President Donald Trump speech at the Israeli Knesset was another proof of Washington’s complicity in the Israeli wars in the region.
“The wars our region has witnessed are not just Israeli wars, but wars waged by the colonial West to weaken the region,” he added, addressing the conference.

“Our decision to join the war of support alongside our people in Gaza came despite the great sacrifices we made and the campaigns waged against us,” Al-Moussawi stated.
He hailed pro-Gaza fronts opened by free people in Yemen, Iran, Lebanon and Iraq, noting that they had an effective role in supporting the Palestinian people.
Al-Moussawi pointed to the international isolation the Zionist entity has been facing over the genocide in Gaza, citing pro-Gaza rallies across the world.
On the Lebanese government decisions taken against Hezbollah resistance, the top official said they were a result of Arab and Western foreign interventions, stressing: “We cannot make concessions as the enemy’s goal is to subjugate us.”
“Resistance movements in every country around the world have faced far more difficult circumstances than those we have experienced,” he stated.
Al-Moussawi concluded his speech by saying: “Resistance will shape the future from Palestine to Lebanon.”
