In a powerful address at the 34th Arab National Conference in Beirut, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Resistance Movement declared that the people of Gaza and its resistance factions fought against an international coalition led by the United States during the recent conflict.
Ziyad al-Nakhalah, speaking on Friday, emphasized that all resistance groups remained united in facing the Israeli aggression. He highlighted the collective nature of their defense against what he characterized as a broad international alliance opposing them.
The resistance leader took the opportunity to express gratitude to nations that supported the Palestinian cause during the Gaza conflict, specifically naming Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt and Qatar for standing with the Palestinian people.
Nakhalah also addressed the escalating situation in the West Bank, warning that Palestinians there are confronting a “real battle” that threatens their existence. He strongly asserted that the events unfolding in Gaza have surpassed Israel’s capacity to control them, suggesting the resistance has gained significant ground.
The Islamic Jihad leader reaffirmed his movement’s commitment to maintaining the Resistance Front under all circumstances, emphasizing their determination to continue protesting and resisting despite the challenges faced by Palestinian communities across the occupied territories.
