Hezbollah Secretray General Sheikh Naim Qassem is to deliver a televised address on Friday afternoon during a ceremony in triubute of martyred scholars who fell All the Way to Al-Quds and in “Formidable in Might” Battle.
The ceremony kicks off at 14:30 (Beirut time), at late Hezbollah S.G. Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s Shrine in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh).
It has been entitled: “Blood and Ink”, in reference to the blood that wrote the history of the nation and defended its people.
According to an invitation by Hezbollah’s Media Relations, the service is “in honor of those who combined the sublimity of knowledge and the glory of martyrdom from among the martyred scholars whose light was completed by the martyrdom of the two Secretaries-General of Hezbollah, the master of the Ummah’s martyrs, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and the Hashemite Sayyed, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine (may God be pleased with them).”

Martyrs who fell All the Way to Al-Quds and during the “Formidable in Might” Battle, refers to those who embraced martyrdom during the pro-Gaza operations Hezbollah had launched on October 8, 2023 and during the period between September and November 2024, when Hezbollah resistance heroically confronted the brutal Israeli war on Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem delivered a speech last Friday, in which his eminence affirmed that surrender is not an option in face of the ongoing Israelis threats and US-backed pressures. He warned that Hezbollah has the right to retaliate to the assassination of senior commander Haitham Al-Tabtabai who was martyred a week earlier in an attack on Beirut.
