Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale military campaign across the occupied West Bank overnight Wednesday into Thursday, conducting simultaneous raids marked by mass arrests, the conversion of civilian homes into military outposts, and reported assaults on medical personnel.

The incursions, part of the ongoing Israeli operation known as “Break the Wave,” targeted numerous population centers. In the south, occupation forces stormed the towns of Beit Ummar and Sa’ir in Hebron Governorate, and Za’tara and Beit Fajjar near Bethlehem.

In the central West Bank, raids hit Al-Mughayyir and the Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah, where recently released prisoners Ayash Abu Aliya and Bajis Nakhla were respectively targeted, with Nakhla rearrested.
The city of Qalqilya witnessed particularly aggressive tactics. In the Kafr Saba neighborhood, forces sealed roads, conducted widespread harassment, and transformed a civilian home into an interrogation barracks, deploying soldiers on rooftops. Reinforcements were later sent to the area amid ongoing clashes.
Humanitarian violations were reported by the Palestinian Red Crescent, which stated that one of its paramedics was assaulted en route to work in Qalqilya. Medical teams in Kafr Saba were allegedly prevented from reaching wounded individuals.

In the northern West Bank, operations continued in Allar near Tulkarm, Nablus, the village of Madama, and Qabatiya near Jenin. The latter saw widespread aggression involving arrests, field interrogations, and a heavy deployment of armored vehicles.
Adding to the disruption, Israeli bulldozers were seen advancing toward the village of Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem, though their purpose was not immediately clarified.
The campaign appears focused on rearresting previously released detainees and dismantling militant networks, but its broad scope has severely impacted civilian life, drawing condemnation from local officials who decry the collective punishment and systematic alteration of the territory’s fabric.
