Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread raid campaign across various parts of the West Bank early Tuesday morning, carrying out arrests and assaults on Palestinian civilians and their property.
Assassination and Raids in Nablus
In Nablus, occupation forces announced the assassination of wanted Palestinian Abdul Raouf Ishtayeh. Ishtayeh was identified as the responsible of a car-ramming operation at the Awarta checkpoint near Nablus in May 2024, which resulted in the deaths of two occupation soldiers.
At dawn, occupation forces stormed the eastern sector of Nablus to secure the entry of settler buses into the area for the desecration of Joseph’s Tomb. During the incursion, soldiers raided several buildings on Amman Street, forcing residents out of their homes and converting the area into a military outpost. This operation coincided with a raid on the New Askar refugee camp.
