MP Ali Ammar of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc declared on Sunday that only the resistance will determine the appropriate time to confront ‘Israel’, speaking from the site of the recent Israeli aggression in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Ammar asserted that Israeli attacks have persistently targeted all of Lebanon since the signing of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement. He stated that every such attack crosses a red line, describing this aggression as inherent to the Israeli entity, which aims to undermine Lebanon’s dignity, sovereignty, and citizen security.
He emphasized that the resistance is confronting these attacks with “utmost wisdom and patience,” and that it alone holds the right to decide the timing of any confrontation. Ammar clarified that Lebanon’s battle with the occupation is comprehensive, and its timing will be determined by the resistance, not the enemy.
The MP also denounced the role of certain voices within Lebanon, accusing them of becoming tools that encourage further enemy aggression.
He concluded by stating that the Palestinian experience proves that no genuine settlement or peace can come from an enemy that openly declares its expansionist intentions.
