MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, a member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc, called on Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his ministers to visit the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh) to witness firsthand the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its people.
Speaking to media outlets from the site of the Israeli airstrike in the Jamous-Hadath residential area on Sunday evening, Al-Moussawi stated, “We are waiting for Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to come, along with his government, to visit here, see the people, feel their pulse, and witness the Israeli aggression against his government, his country, and his people.”
Call for International Pressure
MP Al-Moussawi urged Prime Minister Salam to convene an emergency meeting with his government and invite the Lebanese foreign minister, along with ambassadors from the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and other Western diplomats. He stressed that the prime minister should bring them to the site of the Israeli attack to apply pressure on them to take action.
Rejection of Sovereignty Violations
Concluding his remarks, MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi declared, “This violation of national sovereignty is completely unacceptable,” subtly criticizing those who remain silent or hesitant in the face of Israel’s aggression against Lebanon and its people.
