Israeli enemy warplanes launched a new offensive on Sunday, targeting a structure in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahiyeh), specifically within a densely populated residential neighborhood in the Hadath-Jamous area.
The airstrike led to the destruction of the targeted building and caused significant damage to the surrounding area.
Israeli drones initially launched three strikes on the structure, which had been used by local residents for Ashura processions.

This attack is part of a series of ceasefire violations by Israeli occupation forces since the conclusion of their aggression against Lebanon in November of last year.
Repeated Targeting of Southern Beirut
This is not the first time the southern suburbs of Beirut have been targeted since the end of the Israeli enemy’s aggression against Lebanon. It follows three prior incidents, including attacks on other residential buildings.
President Aoun Condemns Israeli Aggression, Calls on France the US to Act
Lebanese President Michel Aoun condemned the Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs, stressing that the Israeli enemy’s continued violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are unacceptable under any pretext.
He called on the United States and France, as guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, to take responsibility and pressure Israel to cease its actions immediately.
President Aoun also warned that Israel’s ongoing attempts to destabilize the region will escalate tensions and pose real threats to regional security and stability.
