Recalling the 2024 war log, Hezbollah’s Military Media on Friday unveiled new details from the sixtieth day of the Israeli offensive against Lebanon. During this phase, Resistance fighters intensified their ground and cross-border operations, marking significant advances amid the ongoing Israeli assault.
These revelations form part of the “Formidable in Might” documentary series—an episodic production by Hezbollah’s Military Media that chronicles the daily progression of the conflict.
More than a simple chronicle, the series serves as a historical testament to endurance and sacrifice, portraying the stories of men who, through their blood and resilience, inscribed enduring chapters of valor in the annals of the resistance.
Marking the fifty-eighth day of the war, Hezbollah’s Military Media also outlined the Islamic Resistance’s operations conducted on Thursday, 21 November 2024.
Islamic Resistance Launches 29 Operations in Retaliation for Israeli Aggression
In sweeping retaliation to ongoing Israeli aggression—and in defense of Lebanon and its people—the Islamic Resistance on Thursday, 21 November 2024, carried out 29 military operations targeting Israeli settlements, positions, barracks, and troop concentrations along the Lebanese–Palestinian border, using attack drones, rockets, and artillery.
Ground Engagements
Resistance fighters monitored the movement of an Israeli Merkava tank near the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Shamaa and struck it with a guided missile, destroying the vehicle and leaving its crew dead or wounded. Throughout the day, fighters also targeted Israeli troop gatherings and maneuvers on the edges of Khiam, Yaroun, and Shamaa with waves of attack drones and concentrated rocket volleys.
Rocket Strikes on Military Sites and Settlements
The Resistance’s rocket forces launched multiple barrages at Israeli military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, including:
- A gathering of Israeli soldiers north of the Kfar Yuval settlement.
- The Shraga base, the administrative headquarters of the Golani Brigade, north of occupied Acre.
- For the first time, the early-warning site “Yisra’eli,” a key intelligence-collection center belonging to the Israeli 210th Golan Division atop Mount Hermon in the occupied Syrian Golan.
- The Ein Zeitim base.
As part of the ongoing “Khaybar” operations, the rocket forces also struck, for the first time, the Hatzor Air Base—home to major reconnaissance units and fighter squadrons—located 150 km from the Lebanese–Palestinian border, east of Ashdod, using a salvo of advanced rockets.
Air Assault on Haifa Naval Base
In a parallel operation, the Resistance’s air force launched a coordinated drone attack on the Haifa Naval Base, a key installation of the Israeli Navy housing missile boats and submarines. The base lies roughly 35 km from the Lebanese–Palestinian border, north of occupied Haifa. The drones hit their designated targets with precision.
Widespread Alarm Sirens in the North
Throughout the day, Israeli occupation authorities activated air-raid sirens 11 times across northern occupied Palestine, particularly in settlements in the Upper Galilee, the Galilee Panhandle, and along the coastal strip from north of Ras Al-Naqoura down to the Nahariya settlement.
