The Israeli enemy claimed on Wednesday that Hezbollah Lebanese resistance group is rebuilding capabilities in the southern Lebanese town of Beit Lif, in a move that is seen as an incitement aimed at paving the way to stage a new aggression.
The Israeli army’s spokesman released a video showing what he said are targets in Beit Lif, claiming that Hezbollah is “working to rebuild its capabilities” in the village, and vowing to monitor and “act against these violations.”

Reacting to the Israeli incitement, residents of Beit Lif issued an urgent plea to the Lebanese Army as well as the President, PM and Parliament Speaker to take immediate action and fulfill their national duty by providing protection for the unarmed civilian residents.
In a statement, the residents described the claims as “false accusations made by the treacherous Zionist enemy.”
“Here we were raised, here we will remain, and here we will die. Let every official do their duty toward our beloved town,” the statement read.
For his part, Head of Beit Lif Municipality Ezzat Hammoud appealed in a call with Al-Manar to “the Lebanese army to take the necessary measures to reassure the residents and refute the claims of the Israeli enemy.”
“We support the deployment of the Lebanese army among its people in Beit Lif to refute all the enemy’s claims,” he affirmed, adding: “We stand behind the Lebanese army in any action it takes.”
Local media then reported that the Lebanese Army deployed in the town, where it staged patrols.
