Two people were martyred in Israeli attacks on south Lebanon on Saturday and Friday as the Israeli enemy goes ahead with violations of ceasefire that ended brutal Zionist war on Lebanon in late 2024.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported an Israeli drone strike on a Rapid vehicle in the town of Zawatar Al-Sharqiya.
Lebanese Health Ministry said the strike left a martyr. Local media identified the martyr as Kamel Qaranbash, adding that he was targeted near his house in his hometown, Zawtar Al-Sharqiya.
In a photo circulated on social media, the martyr’s mother and father were standing in shock as the vehicle burst into deadly flames.

Five people were also injured shortly after midnight on Friday, as an Israeli drone struck the area where they were staying up near a construction workshop in the southern town of Shaqra.
The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.
333 people have been martyred and 950 others have been wounded in since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024, according to a toll by Al-Manar, based on latest figures obtained by the Lebanese Health Ministry.
The UNIFIL announced on Thursday that the number of Israeli violations of the ceasefire surpassed 10,000.
According to the mission, since the ceasefire took effect, it has recorded “over 7,500 air violations, almost 2,500 ground violations north of the Blue Line,” inside Lebanese territory.
