A Lebanese citizen was martyred this morning in an Israeli drone strike while performing renovation work on a house in the southern Lebanese town of Aita al-Shaab.
The attack resulted in the citizen’s death and caused significant material damage to the property.
This aggression is part of a broader escalation by Israeli drones across southern Lebanon. Earlier today, Al-Manar TV reported that an Israeli drone dropped a sonic bomb in the center of the border town of Adaisseh. Furthermore, this afternoon, an Israeli drone was observed flying at low altitude over various areas of Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley.
These repeated attacks on Lebanese border areas unfold against a backdrop of escalating security tensions and a perceived surrender of the country’s stability and security to American and Israeli dictates, compounded by a conspicuous absence of official Lebanese action to confront these violations.
The Israeli entity persists in its breaches of the ceasefire agreement signed last November. To date, the number of violations has exceeded 5,298, resulting in over 900 martyrs and wounded since the end of last year’s aggression.
