Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani offered condolences over martyrdom of senior Hezbollah Jihadi Commander Haitham Al-Tabtabai, stressing that “there is no path left except to confront” the Zionist entity.
In a post on X, the top Iranian official praised Al-Tabtabai as “one of the sincere followers of the path of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (PBUH).”
“On the night of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUH), Lady of the Women of the Worlds, one of the sincere followers of her path, the Mujahid brother Haitham Ali Tabtabai, one of Hezbollah senior commanders, was martyred along with his comrades at the hands of criminal Zionists.”
“They achieved what they sought (martyrdom), yet (Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu continues his reckless actions, pushing matters to a point where it becomes clear to all that confronting this fabricated entity is the only path left,” Larijani stated.

He offered his condolences to Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem and to the resistance group’s fighters on this blessed martyrdom.
Commander Al-Tabtabai was martyred on Sunday in an Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, along with four Hezbollah members.
Hezbollah issued a statement late on Sunday, in which it pronounced martyrdom of Al-Tabtabai and his comrades, praising the senior commander as “working tirelessly in confronting the Israeli enemy until his last moments.”
