The Military Media of the Islamic Resistance issued a brief biography of the Great Jihadi Commander, Martyr Haytham Ali Al-Tabtabai, “Sayyed Abu Ali” who was martyred on Sunday in a treacherous Israeli attack on Beirut’s Dahieh.
Text of the biography
– Place and Date of Birth: Al-Bashoura, 05/11/1968
– Joined the ranks of the Islamic Resistance from its founding and underwent numerous military and leadership training courses.
– Participated in many military operations—especially qualitative ones—against “Israeli” army positions and its agents during the period preceding the liberation in 2000.
– Played a field role in confronting the “Israeli” aggression on Lebanon in 1993 and 1996.
– Held the responsibility of the Nabatieh axis from 1996 until the liberation in 2000, and was one of the commanders of the capture operation in Berket Al-Naqqar in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms.
– Took charge of Al-Khiam axis from 2000 until 2008, and led heroic confrontations on Al-Khiam front during the July 2006 aggression.
– Assumed responsibility for the Intervention Forces in the Islamic Resistance. After the martyrdom of the great jihadi leader Haj Imad Mughniyeh, he contributed to founding and developing Al-Radwan Force.
– Was among the jihadi commanders who planned and managed operations against takfiri groups on Lebanon’s eastern border.
– Was entrusted with senior leadership roles across the entire Axis of Resistance in its various arenas.
– Held the position of Chief of Operations in the Islamic Resistance during Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
– Was one of the senior jihadi commanders who managed and supervised the Islamic Resistance’s operations during the Battle of The Formidable in Might in 2024.
– Assumed responsibility for military command in the Islamic Resistance after the Battle of The Formidable in Might.
– Ascended as a martyr, sacrificing himself for Lebanon and its people, along with a group of his fellow martyrs, following a treacherous “Israeli” assassination in the southern suburb of Beirut on 23/11/2025.
