Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is now once again in effect, after twelve hours of intense bombardment that killed at least 100 people across the besieged strip of Gaza.
In a statement, the occupation military said it “begun the renewed enforcement of the ceasefire,” noting that the move was “in accordance with the directive of the political echelon.”
It added that it carried a series of strikes, in which “dozens of terror targets and terrorists were struck,” blaming Hamas resistance group of ‘violating’ the ceasefire.
The Israeli occupation army stated that it “will continue to uphold the ceasefire agreement and will respond firmly to any violation of it.”
At least 100 Palestinians have been martyred in the Israeli bombardment, which ceased at 10:00 on Wednesday.

The strikes in Gaza lasted overnight after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered “powerful” strikes following an exchange of gunfire in Rafah in southern Gaza on Tuesday. The Israeli military later said on Wednesday that an Israeli soldier was killed.
