Israeli occupation army said on Wednesday a reservist was killed in an attack against occupation troops stationed in the Rafah area of the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon.
The slain soldier was a heavy machinery operator in the Gaza Division, The Times of Israeli reported, citing the occupation military.

According to an initial Israeli army probe, Palestinian operatives carried out gunfire toward an army excavator operating in Rafah’s Jenina neighborhood, killing the reservist.
A short while later, RPGs were fired by the operatives toward the forces, which hit an armored vehicle, with no additional injuries caused.
The area is located on the eastern side of the Yellow Line, an area under Israeli occupation as part of the ceasefire.
Despite the 125 Israeli violations that killed 94 Palestinians between October 10 – when the ceasefire took effect – and October 28 , the occupation army blamed Hamas for the killing of the reservist on Tuesday. It llaunched a series of strikes across the Gaza Strip overnight, killing more Palestinians, at least nearly 90, medical sources told Al Jazeera.
