The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) strongly condemned the assassination by the Zionist entity of one of the steadfast leaders of Hezbollah, Martyr Haytham Ali Al-Tabtabai, in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The IRGC stated that this cowardly act, which occurred under the so-called truce repeatedly broken by the pharaohs of our time, is not a sign of strength, but rather a clear document of the enemy’s weakness and inability to cope with the will of the region’s peoples and the resistance front.
The IRGC statement emphasized that this brutal operation led to the martyrdom of this capable leader, who was a lover of martyrdom in the battles of the resistance axis, and played an effective role in foiling the conspiracies of the takfiri groups, along with a number of his companions and Lebanese nationals.
The IRGC expressed regret over the silence and inaction of international forums, institutions, and human rights organizations regarding the genocide and brutal acts committed by the Zionist entity, and the support provided by the rulers of the White House, who promote war and sponsor terrorism.
The IRGC declared that contrary to the dreams of America, the Zionist entity, and other criminal supporters, the resistance front is alive and vibrant. The blood of the martyrs not only does not extinguish the resistance, but also increases the flame of hope and will in the hearts of free people worldwide and the brave and faithful fighters in the region.
The statement stressed that the resistance axis and Lebanon’s Hezbollah have the right to avenge the blood of their heroic fighters, and at the appointed time, a devastating response will await the terrorist aggressor.
The IRGC added that the Islamic nation and free peoples demanding their rights worldwide see this assassination as part of the psychological war and desperate efforts of the criminal Zionist entity to hide its internal crises and consecutive failures, especially in the face of the steadfast Lebanese resistance and the beloved and powerful Hezbollah, as well as the oppressed and resilient Palestinian resistance front. This will only lead to failure and increase hatred and repulsion among global public opinion.
The statement emphasized that the resistance front will continue, in all fields – military, political, media, and popular – with harmony and sacred will, on the path of liberating Jerusalem and removing the cancerous tumor of the usurping and fake Zionist entity, until the final victory over the occupiers of the holy Palestinian land and Jerusalem.

The IRGC affirms that the blood of Martyr Haytham Ali Tabatabai and other resistance martyrs, who made history and pride, is a strategic capital for the future of the region and the Islamic nation – a capital that the enemy will never be able to extinguish, and its glow in the field and in the trenches of the mujahideen resistance fighters draws a terrifying nightmare for the Zionists.”
