Thousands of Yemeni bid farewell to Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Rahawi and a number of ministers who were martyred last Thursday in an Israeli strike.
Yemenis flock to Al-Sabeen Square in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, with the funeral prayers being held at Shaab Mosque and broadcast by Al-Masirah TV.
Crowds inside the mosque chanted against the Zionist entity and the United States as they mourned the deaths of the officials, including the foreign affairs, media and culture, and industrial ministers.

Yemen’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Shamsddine Sharafddine addressed the funeral, hailing the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in sake of the homeland and in support of Palestine.
For his part, Caretaker PM Mohamamd Meftah stressed that the assassination of the senior officials won’t succeed to destabilizethe Yemeni state, vowing that their blood will fuel further determination and action in confronting “the futile aggression.”
Yemeni Presidency announced on Saturday that Al-Rahawi and some members of his cabinet were martyred in an Israeli airstrike, which also left a number of other ministers wounded.
In a televised address on Sunday, Ansarullah Leader Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi vowed to escalate attacks on the Zionist entity, stressing that sacrifices should be regarded as offerings in defense of Palestine rather than losses.
