Commander of IRGC’s Quds Force Esmail Qaani said late Deputy Commander of Quds Force Mohammad Hejazi has been always lionized by Muslim world leaders and that is proof of his services to the Muslim world.
Addressing funeral ceremony of Hejazi, who died on Sunday of heart conditions, Qaani named the late commander as one of the leaders fighting against the Pahlavi regime before the Islamic Revolution and one of the pioneers protecting the Islamic Revolution in the Iran-Iraq war.
“Hejazi’s bravery and measure have always been approved by Muslim world leaders including the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement’s chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and the current head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haniyeh,” Qaani addressed the funeral in Isfahan.
Sayyed Nasralah and Haniyeh have condoled Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei over demise of Hejazi, Qaani added.
He hailed achievements secured by the Resistance front against the US and the Zionist entity.
“Hejazi had prominent role in Resistance battles abroad Iran.”
Emphasizing that the resistance fronts in all Islamic countries, including Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq are taking basic action against the enemies every day, Qaani said commanders are being trained in the front to follow Martyrs Qassem Sulemani and Hejazi.
Suleimani, the former head of Quds Force, was martyred on January 2020 near Baghdad airport by a US strike ordered by former US President Donald Trump.
