UN Syria envoy Staffan De Mistura stated on Wednesday that the upcoming Astana meeting will be held as scheduled, adding that it’s being sought to form a unified delegation representing the ‘opposition’ (terrorist groups) in preparation a possible meeting with the government representatives in Astana next October.

De Mistura maintained that the ‘opposition’ (terrorist groups) must resort to realism and acknowledge that they have lost the war.
