Despite a ceasefire being in place for 49 days, the Israeli occupation continued its military assaults across the southern and central Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least four Palestinians in a new wave of attacks.
The violations on Friday were widespread, involving multiple branches of the Israeli occupation military. According to Palestinian reports, a Palestinian man was killed by an Israeli drone strike in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis. In a separate incident in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, a child was wounded by Israeli tank fire.

The assaults intensified across Khan Younis, where Israeli artillery shelled the eastern parts of the city. The attacks were complemented by heavy gunfire from Israeli helicopters targeting the same area. Simultaneously, Israeli warships opened fire off the coast of the city.
Further north, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the northeastern areas of Rafah, signaling a multi-front escalation.

Systemic Violations and Humanitarian Blockade
These latest attacks are part of a documented pattern of systematic violations since the ceasefire began. The Gaza Center for Human Rights announced that over the first 47 days of the truce, Israeli attacks have killed 350 Palestinians, including 130 children and 54 women.
The center has recorded more than 535 separate violations of the agreement, averaging over 11 breaches per day, and confirmed that these violations have been ongoing since the moment the ceasefire took effect.
Furthermore, the Israeli occupation has severely restricted the entry of humanitarian aid, allowing only 211 trucks to pass through daily—a fraction of the 600 trucks it publicly claims to permit. The center also noted that Israel has failed to adhere to the agreed-upon withdrawal plan and continues to impose fire control while conducting military incursions into civilian areas, effectively maintaining its siege on the Gaza Strip.
