Recalling the 2024 war log, Hezbollah’s Military Media on Thursday unveiled new details from the sixty-sixth day of the Israeli offensive against Lebanon.
These revelations form part of the “Formidable in Might” documentary series—an episodic production by Hezbollah’s Military Media that chronicles the daily progression of the conflict.
More than a simple chronicle, the series serves as a historical testament to endurance and sacrifice, portraying the stories of men who, through their blood and resilience, inscribed enduring chapters of valor in the annals of the resistance.
“Formidable in Might” is the story of those who were never defeated, who forged with their sacrifices a legacy of glory and immortality that endures.
Marking the sixty-sixth day of the war, Hezbollah’s Military Media also outlined the Islamic Resistance’s operations conducted on Friday, 27 November 2024.
Resistance Command Issues Field Summary
The Islamic Resistance Operations Room released a battlefield summary titled Statement No. 4638, asserting that the movement continued its path in fulfillment of the directive of its martyred Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah—may God sanctify his soul—and under the leadership of his successor, Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem.
The statement stressed that Hezbollah upheld its pledge and struggled for more than 13 months, ultimately securing victory over an enemy “deluded in its expectations,” unable to break its resolve or weaken its will.
According to the Operations Room, since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 8 October 2023, the Islamic Resistance carried out more than 4,637 declared military operations over 417 days, averaging 11 operations per day. Of these, 1,666 operations were conducted during the “Mighty Warriors Battle,” targeting Israeli occupation posts, bases, and settlements from the Lebanese-Palestinian border to areas beyond the occupied city of “Tel Aviv,” and including direct engagements against ground incursions inside Lebanese territory.
Israeli Losses Since Ground Advance
From the start of the Israeli enemy’s ground push into Lebanon on 1 October 2024 until 27 November 2024, cumulative Israeli military losses reported by the Resistance include:
- More than 130 soldiers and officers were killed, and over 1,250 were wounded.
- 59 Merkava tanks were destroyed, along with 11 military bulldozers, two Humvees, two armored vehicles, and two personnel carriers.
- Six “Hermes 450” drones were shot down, along with two “Hermes 900” drones and a quadcopter.
These figures do not include Israeli losses in bases, posts, settlements, or occupied cities.
There is no Israeli hold in first-line border towns.
The Operations Room affirmed that throughout the Israeli ground campaign, and due to the steadfastness of Resistance fighters, Israeli occupation forces failed to hold or establish control in any first-line border town—areas that had already endured continuous attacks since the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle. Israeli occupation forces were likewise unable to halt rocket and drone launches toward occupied territory. Until the final day of hostilities, Resistance fighters continued striking deep into Israel from positions within border villages.
Address to the Lebanese People
The group’s statement concluded with a message to the Lebanese public that read:
“To the most noble, pure, and honorable of people—our proud and steadfast nation—your legendary resilience and boundless sacrifices shattered the enemy’s illusions. Victory came, by God’s grace, to the just cause you embraced. You return to your towns and homes with dignity and pride, carrying a triumph that echoes across the world, and raising a banner rooted firmly in the field and in our collective conscience—one that remains unbowed by oppression or aggression. ‘Victory comes only from God, the Almighty, the Wise’ (Quran 3:126).”
