Southern Lebanon was subjected Thursday to a concentrated series of Israeli air raids, marking yet another blatant violation of Lebanese sovereignty, the year-old ceasefire agreement, and UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The Israeli enemy’s aggression came in multiple waves targeting a wide stretch of southern towns and highlands.
Al-Manar’s correspondent reported Thursday that hostile warplanes carried out airstrikes on Al-Mahmoudiyeh, Al-Jibour, and the outskirts of Al-Luwayza in southern Lebanon.
The correspondent added that the enemy’s aircraft also struck the area located between Jarjou‘ and Arabsalim, as well as the zone between Sojod and the Rihan Heights.

He further reported that the Sarda area, south of Khiam, came under direct fire originating from the newly established Israeli position on the Lebanese hill of Al-Hamames.
On Wednesday evening, the Israeli enemy escalated its violations once again. An Israeli armored vehicle advanced from the Al-‘Asi military post toward the barrier on the eastern outskirts of Meiss Al-Jabal. Three soldiers dismounted, breached the technical fence, and crossed the Blue Line, inspecting a home located roughly 100 meters inside Lebanese territory before withdrawing to their position.
Later that night, Al-Manar’s correspondent confirmed that the Israeli enemy opened heavy fire from its position at Ruwaysat Al-‘Alam toward the outskirts of Kfar Shouba in southern Lebanon.
