The Lebanese Army dispatched a military bulldozer to establish a site in Ghassouna area which lies in the outskirts of the two border towns of Blida and Aitaroun, South Lebanon.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun instructed the Lebanese Army to confront any Israeli incursion into the liberated southern territories during his meeting with Army Commander General Rudolph Hekal on Thursday morning at the Baabda Palace. The President emphasized that this directive is for the defense of Lebanese land and the safety of its citizens.

President Aoun’s directive came after an Israeli occupation force consisting of several military jeeps, infiltrated the southern Lebanese border town of Blida at dawn on Thursday. According to Al Manar correspondent in south Lebanon, the occupation force stormed the town’s temporary municipal building under the cover of surveillance drones, with sounds of gunfire echoing during the assault.

Hezbollah strongly condemned this new “Israeli” crime, which came directly after the visit of the US envoy to Lebanon and her chairing of the Mechanism Committee meetings.

Al-Manar correspond reported that a bulldozer belonging to the Lebanese army is heading to the Ghassouna area in the outskirts of the town of Bliida to participate in establishing a military site for the army after the Israeli force’s incursion from this area towards the center of the town at dawn today. An Israeli Merkava tank alertly moved out of the occupation site into the Lebanese territories.
A Zionist drone attack had targeted Harouf town, South Lebanon. The Lebanese capital and its southern suburb witnessed also an intensive Israeli drone flight at low altitudes.
