An Israeli occupation force consisting of several military jeeps, infiltrated the southern Lebanese border town of Blida at dawn on Thursday. According to Al Manar correspondent in south Lebanon, the occupation force stormed the town’s temporary municipal building under the cover of surveillance drones, with sounds of gunfire echoing during the assault.
Blida municipality later issued a devastating confirmation: one of its employees, Ibrahim Salameh, who had been staying overnight inside the building, was killed by the invading Israeli occupation forces. Officials stated that Salameh was shot and martyred while he was asleep.

The incursion triggered a swift mobilization of Lebanese Army units to the area. After the Israeli occupation force eventually withdrew following a two-hour presence, Lebanese military reinforcements moved in to secure the vicinity around the municipal building.
Before their retreat, the Israeli occupation forces relayed a warning through the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), demanding the evacuation of the premises. It was confirmed that UNIFIL forces did not enter Blida during or after the hostile operation.
In a related act of escalation, the southern town of Al-Adaysah was also targeted today, where an Israeli occupation force booby-trapped and completely demolished a building.

Al-Manar correspondent confirmed that enemy warplanes launched a series of raids targeting forested areas in Damascus, the outskirts of Jarmaq and Aishiya, and the Mahmoudiya area in southern Lebanon.

This armed incursion marks the latest in a series of repeated violations of Lebanese sovereignty by the Israeli occupation, which have extended beyond the South to include the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs of Beirut. These actions represent continuous breaches of the ceasefire agreement that was established on November 27, 2024.
