The Israeli navy intercepted on Friday the Marianne, the last remaining vessel in the Global Freedom Flotilla, which was carrying food and medical aid en route to the besieged Gaza Strip.
The move comes as Israeli media reported that Zionist authorities have begun deportation procedures for activists who sign repatriation orders, following the capture of the previous flotilla vessels earlier this week.
Marianne Advanced Beyond Previous Intercept Zone
Late Thursday, the Global Freedom Flotilla confirmed on social media that the Marianne was still sailing toward Gaza, despite the prior seizure of all other flotilla ships. According to media sources, the vessel had reached within 54 nautical miles (around 100 km) of Gaza—approximately 20 miles beyond where the first boats were intercepted.
Israeli occupation authorities had issued a warning Thursday, declaring that any attempt to approach what they referred to as an “active combat zone” would be thwarted.
Nine More Ships En Route to Gaza
Despite escalating interdictions, nine vessels from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and the Alf Madsen campaign continue their direct voyage toward Gaza, having departed Sicily on September 25. Organizers have reiterated their commitment to reach Gaza and deliver vital aid, despite the Israeli blockade.
In a separate development, a ship named “The Conscience” carrying dozens of journalists and international medical professionals from 25 countries has also set sail. The crew seeks to reach and support colleagues aboard the flotilla in their attempt to break the Israeli siege.
The Conscience was previously targeted by an Israeli airstrike off the coast of Malta in May.
Flotilla Calls for International Intervention
Israeli enemy authorities confirmed the interception of all flotilla vessels, prompting flotilla organizers to call for immediate international intervention. The International Committee for Breaking the Siege on Gaza reported that several detained activists have begun a hunger strike in protest.
Israeli media said 473 activists have been transferred to the Ketziot prison in the Negev following initial interrogations.
According to the Zionist foreign ministry, all flotilla activists are to be deported to Europe. Israel Hayom reported that repatriations could begin by air early next week.
Israeli public broadcaster KAN said hundreds of participants were moved to Ashdod port for either “voluntary departure” or legal deportation proceedings. The occupation’s military and navy are reportedly conducting maritime scans to ensure no vessel breaches the blockade.

Zionist Minister Labels Activists ‘Terrorists’
The Zionist far-right “National Security” Minister Itamar Ben Gvir visited Ashdod port, where activists were being interrogated. Video footage showed him referring to the flotilla participants as “terrorists.”
On Thursday, Israeli media said the navy had seized 41 boats from the Global Freedom Flotilla carrying more than 400 people. The flotilla renewed its plea for international protection and the immediate release of all detained volunteers.
Public Figures Aboard
The Global Freedom Flotilla launched in early September from Spain with around 45 vessels carrying hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists from over 40 countries. Among the participants are high-profile figures, including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and French MEP Rima Hassan.
