Head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani visited on Wednesday the Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri at his residence in Ain Al-Tineh, Beirut, in the context of his official visit to Lebanon.
The meeting, attended also by the accompanying delegation and the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani, tackled the latest developments.
After the meeting, Larijani said that the Lebanese-Iranian relations are in their best conditions, adding that the Lebanese men are heroes in the field of resistance against the Israeli enemy.
Iran believes that the independent states in the region must be powerful, and does not see its allies as tools, he added.
Larijani underscored that, through the friendly and comprehensive dialogue, the Lebanese can take appropriate decisions, away from the foreign dictates.
According to the Iranian official, the Resistance is the capital of the Lebanese people. He noted that the hypocritical media wants to promote that Lebanon’s enemy is Iran, not ‘Israel’.
“We have not got a roadmap for Lebanon; the Iranians got their paper,” he said.
Larijani affirmed that, during his meeting with Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun, the latter said that he knows Iran is a friendly country.
