In a blatant violation of a ceasefire agreement, Israeli occupation forces have launched a deadly series of airstrikes and shelling attacks against towns and civilians in southern Lebanon.
Al-Manar correspondent reported that an Israeli drone raid targeted a car on Baraachit – Beit Yahoun main road and left two martyrs.
The earlier incidents occurred this morning, with three Lebanese citizens martyred in an Israeli drone strike and artillery bombardment targeting the town of Yohmar al-Shaqif. According to reports, the drone struck a car while the shelling hit the al-Dabash neighborhood.
This attack comes just two days after another Lebanese citizen was martyred in the town of Maaroub when an Israeli drone targeted his vehicle.

The escalating aggression marks a grave breach of the ceasefire deal brokered in late 2024, which was supposed to guarantee a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon by the end of January this year. However, the deadline was later extended to February 18, and Israeli occupation forces continue to occupy several points inside Lebanese territory.
Over the past few days, the Israeli military has ramped up its attacks against villages in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, launching a series of raids that have resulted in multiple deaths and injuries among civilians. These actions flagrantly violate the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
Prior to the latest escalation, the Israeli occupation had been engaged in ongoing, sporadic strikes and incursions that undermined Lebanese sovereignty, including repeated violations of the country’s airspace.
