According to Al-Manar TV news bulletin, the Lebanese parliament circles are preparing the hall that will host the representatives of the various blocs in the context of a national dialogue aimed at surpassing the deadlocked presidential elections.
A number of lawmakers told Al-Manar, according to the report, that House Speaker Nabih Berri is conducting a political evaluation to determine the stances of the parliamentary blocs pertaining attending the dialogue session.
Al-Manar added that Speaker Berri will finalize his decision before the tenth presidential elections session scheduled to be held on Thursday.
It is worth noting that lack of consensus has so far prevented the Lebanese parliament from electing a new president as blank ballots dominated the first nine vote sessions.
Lebanon has been suffering a presidential vacuum since the end of President Michel Aoun’s term on October 31, 2022.
