The international meeting of Astana talks on Syria in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan will be held on December 21 and 22, Official Representative of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov announced on Tuesday.
“The meeting will be held on December 21st and 22nd”, TASS news agency quoted Smadiyarov as saying in a statement to journalists, noting that all parties confirmed their participation in the meeting.
The Astana meetings began in the Kazakh capital at the beginning of 2017, as 16 meetings were held, one of them in the Russian city of Sochi, and they all emphasized the firm commitment to preserving Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and continuing the war against terrorist organizations in it until they are completely eradicated.
