Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that Hajj ritual ceremony provides the best opportunity to thwart enemies’ propaganda.

The supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with officials in charge of organizing Hajj ritual ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday.

They have formed a huge international propaganda front to deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Supreme Leader said, adding that the only way to confront this dangerous front is enlightening the minds of people through adopting an active and publicity campaign and Hajj is regarded as a cornerstone to materialize such a lofty goal.

The supreme Leader also expressed satisfaction for preserving dignity and respect of Iranian pilgrims during this year’s Hajj ritual ceremony.

The Islamic system is capable enough to stand against any aggressions and believes that Hajj is the best podium to establish contact with world people to help thwart all conspiracies, Ayatollah Khamenei said.

There are numerous intellectuals in the world who mind to hear the truth from the Islamic Republic of Iran, therefore, significant issues such as fight against global arrogance, revealing real identity of the west, disavowal from enemies of Islam could be transferred to the audience through such podium, the Supreme Leader said.

During Hajj ritual ceremony, the Saudi officials appeared on TV with anguish and talked against the Islamic Republic of Iran and it is quite natural that such words would create ambiguities in the minds of people of other countries and this hurdle will be removed through establishing direct contact with people, the Supreme Leader said.

Before the Supreme Leader’s remarks, head of Hajj Organization Hojatoleslam Ghazi Asgar briefed the supreme leader on this year’s Hajj ritual ceremony.
