Russia said on Tuesday it has no disagreements with Iran on Syria ceasefire agreed with US.
Moscow and Tehran have no disagreements on the accord, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Director of the Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said Tuesday, RIA Novosti reported.
Kabulov said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov will discuss the Russian-US ceasefire agreement on Syria with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Jaberi Ansari during consultations slated for Wednesday.
“It is currently the number one issue, it will inevitably [be discussed],” Kabulov told RIA Novosti, responding to a question on the subject of the discussion.
On September 9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry announced a new plan aimed at reducing violence in Syria, which includes a new nationwide ceasefire.
