The Lebanese Army accused the Israeli enemy of hindering the completion of the army in the area south of Litanin River in south Lebanon.
In a statement, Commander of South Litani Sector Brigadier General Nicolas Tabet said: “We are from people and with them.”
“We did not face any objections during our deployment mission in the south, neither from Lebanese citizens, nor from any party,” the statement read.
He said that the Lebanese Army is currently deployed at more than 200 points in the area to the south of the Litani River.

Brig. Gen. Tabet stressed that ‘Israel’ hasn’t presented to the Cessation of Hostilities Monitoring Mechanism, known as Mechanism, any proof that Hezbollah is engaged in arms smuggling in the area.
In this regard, the commander affirmed that the houses which has been targeted by Israeli strikes in the recent weeks “have been proven to be free of weapons, as documented by the Lebanese Army and the UNIFIL.”
“The army’s mission is to abide by international resolutions, considering that what hinders the implementation of its plan is the continued Israeli occupation of Lebanese territories.”
He added that since September 5, 332 land violations, 17 sea violations, and 311 air violations have been recorded by the Israeli enemy.
