Two Palestinian young men were martyred by Israeli occupation forces and armed settlers in separate incidents across the occupied West Bank early Monday, according to local reports.
The first casualty was 17-year-old Jamil Hannani, who succumbed to a critical gunshot wound to the chest. The shooting occurred during an Israeli military raid on Sunday night in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Palestinian health officials reported that Israeli soldiers blocked paramedics from reaching the severely injured teen to administer first aid. He was later transported to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where he was pronounced dead. The incident unfolded amid clashes between local youths and the invading Israeli occupation forces.

In a separate event in the city of al-Khalil, a young man was shot and killed by an extremist Jewish settler. The attack took place in the Ras al-Joura area, near the city’s northern entrance. Local sources stated that after the settler opened fire, critically wounding the young man, a group of settlers and Israeli soldiers sealed off the area and prevented Palestinian medical crews from evacuating him for treatment. He was declared dead at dawn on Monday.
