Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its leaders had obtained valuable intelligence after engaging Israeli drones in the occupied West Bank.
A field commander in the Brigades stated on Wednesday evening that the leadership had issued instructions at the outset of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood to begin an operation to obscure the enemy’s vision and its drones in various West Bank cities. He explained that Al-Quds Brigades fighters successfully controlled the enemy drones using appropriate firepower during the operation, and noted the introduction of new weapons to the battlefield.
The same source added that “the covert part of the operation enabled the movement’s intelligence apparatus in the West Bank to extract information that included the coordinates of enemy command and control centers and troop concentrations, as well as some newly established positions, in addition to other data that has not been disclosed for security reasons at this stage.”
The source stated that “extracting this information had a tangible impact on the battlefield, as the results translated into the execution of several operations targeting occupation sites, checkpoints, and military outposts, and the planting of explosive devices along the routes of military vehicles.”
The source emphasized that “the military formations of the Al-Quds Brigades continue to inflict pain on the enemy by adopting new field tactics that are appropriate to the realities and conditions on the ground.”
