On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 37| Tuesday, October 29, 2024
Based on faith in Allah Almighty, commitment to authentic Muhammadan Islam, and adherence to the principles and goals of Hezbollah, and in accordance with the adopted mechanism for electing the Secretary-General, the Shura Council of Hezbollah has agreed on the election of Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary-General of the party, succeeding the late Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God bless his soul).
This election comes as a culmination of a long jihadist and intellectual journey of Sheikh Naim Qassem within the party’s ranks and leadership, and as a confirmation of the continuation of the same path in facing challenges and aggression.

In parallel with this leadership milestone, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance continued to perform their jihadist duty on the ground. In response to the Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 33 military operations on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, targeting mostly settlements, sites, barracks, and concentrations of Israeli enemy forces at the Lebanese-Palestinian border, using rockets and artillery shells.
On the ground confrontation front, after precise monitoring of gatherings and movements of Israeli enemy forces on the outskirts of the towns of Khiyam and Kfar Kila, the mujahideen targeted them more than once with rocket salvoes and artillery shells, achieving confirmed hits.
While two Merkava tanks were moving in the Al-Hammam area south of the town of Khiyam, the mujahideen targeted them with guided missiles, causing them to burn and resulting in casualties among their crews.
The rocket force in the resistance bombarded the settlements of Dalton, Kfar Fradim, Ma’alot Tarshiha, Meron, and Kabri with large rocket salvoes.

The air force in the resistance also targeted, with swarms of explosive drones, the Sharaga base north of Acre, the Beit Hillel base, and the Goma junction south of Kiryat Shmona, hitting their targets with precision.
The mujahideen of the resistance’s air defense unit managed to shoot down an Israeli Hermes 900 reconnaissance drone over the Marjeyoun area using a surface-to-air missile, and it was seen burning in the air.
In response, Israeli media reported the killing of a settler and serious injuries in the Ma’alot Tarshiha settlement after it came under heavy rocket fire from Hezbollah. It added that “Hezbollah is threatening and it is present,” noting that fires, casualties, and damage have increased significantly in the past few days.
It confirmed that about 900 wounded Israeli soldiers have been admitted to hospitals since the start of the ground operation in Lebanon.
Siren blasts were recorded 22 times in various areas of northern occupied Palestine, particularly in the settlements of the Galilee Panhandle, Upper Galilee, Nahariya, and its surroundings.
