On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 35| Sunday, October 27, 2024
In response to the Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 29 military operations on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Most of these operations targeted Israeli settlements, sites, barracks, and troop concentrations along the Lebanese-Palestinian border, using rockets and artillery shells.
In the context of ground confrontations, resistance fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force with a guided missile in the area around the town of Houla, causing casualties. After monitoring enemy forces in the areas around the towns of Aytaroun, Kfar Kila, Houla, and Al-Dhahira, the resistance fighters targeted them with rocket salvoes and artillery shells, achieving direct hits.
The resistance’s rocket force also targeted several military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine with rocket salvoes, including the settlement of Karmiel, the “Zvulon” military base north of Haifa, and the settlement of “Ayelet HaShahar”.
In the same context, the resistance’s air force launched drone attacks on several targets, including the “Yodfat” military industries company in the “Barlev” industrial zone south of Acre, a concentration of Israeli forces near the northern entrance to the “Marj” site, and the settlements of “Kfar Yuval”, “Sasa”, “Zar’it”, and “Shomera”.
The resistance’s air defense unit also intercepted an Israeli reconnaissance plane of the type “Hermes 900” in the skies over Western Bekaa with surface-to-air missiles, forcing it to leave the area.
In response, the Israeli army radio reported that Hezbollah had precisely targeted a factory for assembling aviation components inside the industrial zone east of Acre with a drone attack. The army opened an investigation into why sirens were not activated during the attack.
The Israeli army spokesperson confirmed the killing of one officer and three soldiers, and the injury of 26 others, including serious injuries, as a result of fierce battles with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
Siren blasts were heard 24 times in various areas of northern occupied Palestine, particularly in the settlements of the Upper Galilee and the coastal strip from Ras al-Naqoura to Acre.
