Hezbollah issued a statement on the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood, describing it as a battle of sacrifice, liberation, will, steadfastness, confronting injustice as well as occupation, and defending sanctities and dignity.
Hezbollah renewed its pledge to be with the Palestinian people, “who have written with their steadfastness and patience, mixed with tragedies and pain, the highest lessons of honor and dignity in the face of the most brutal Israeli entity, supported by the United States, in front of a world that is kneeling and shackled, watching the massacres, killings, and destruction without moving a finger”.
“This sacred battle has revealed, from its first moment, the true face of the criminal Zionist entity, which is devoid of any human attribute, and is supported by the arrogant American tyrant, who tramples on all international laws and decisions, and violates the sovereignty of countries and their peoples, committing massacres and genocide, and practicing a war of starvation and displacement against the people of Gaza, revealing its expansionist and aggressive plans.”
The security, stability, and future of the region are linked to the unity of stance, cooperation among Arab and Islamic countries and their peoples, the consolidation of support for the resistance and its choice, and to turning the positions rejecting Israeli aggression into actions that deter this enemy that only understands the language of strength and confrontation, the statement added.
This nation must realize that this entity is a dagger planted in its heart, and a malignant cancerous tumor that must be removed before it spreads and leads to destruction and devastation wherever it goes, Hezbollah noted.
“Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance are on the path of the Master of the Ummah Martyrs, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), the pure Hashemite blood, and the martyrs, continuing to preserve the trust of resistance and the blood of martyrs. On this anniversary, we extend our greetings and respect to the martyred leaders and all the martyrs who rose on the path to Jerusalem, and to the wounded and prisoners, and to everyone who stood and supported and sacrificed for the sake of Jerusalem and Palestine.”
The statement greeted the free and steadfast Palestinian people, rooted in their land, who faced the Zionist killing machine with their bare chests, the hungry children of Gaza, the bereaved mothers, and the free hearts that embrace the hope of imminent relief.
“Greetings be to the Palestinian resistance, with all its factions, to the brave mujahideen who have been fighting for two years in a sacred battle to defend Jerusalem and the nation, and confronting the most arrogant tyrants on earth in a legendary epic.”
“Greetings be to everyone who supported and backed Gaza and its people, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may God protect him), and to its people and government, and its security and military forces. To Yemen, leadership and people, and to the brave military forces. To Iraq, with its resistance, religious leadership, people, and government.”
Hezbollah also saluted the free peoples of the world who raised the voice of Palestine high, and conveyed to the world the cries and pains of the children and women of Gaza.
This historic occasion will remain eternal in history, about a people who rose up against the occupying aggressor of their land, fought, sacrificed, and stood firm, and with God’s permission, they will be victorious, and they are worthy of victory, and all of Palestine will return to its people, despite all conspirators, normalizers, and traitors, the statement concluded.
Hezbollah announced Gaza Support Battle one day after Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, launching over 3000 attacks on the Zionist occupation forces and settlements in northern Palestine.
