A relentless wave of Israeli airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire has pummeled Gaza from north to south, killing and wounding civilians at aid points and in their homes, with rescue teams reporting entire families lost beneath the rubble.

The Israeli aggression was most concentrated in Gaza City, where residents faced a multi-pronged attack. Israeli warplanes targeted homes around the Yarmouk neighborhood in the city center and launched strikes to the northwest. Simultaneously, an Apache attack helicopter fired missiles into a city neighborhood, and Israeli gunboats shelled western areas from the sea.

Tragedy at an Aid Point and Beneath the Rubble
The human cost was starkly detailed by Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza, which reported receiving two bodies and nine injuries after Israeli occupation shelled a crowd of civilians at a humanitarian aid distribution point in the Netzarim area, south of Wadi Gaza.

In western Gaza, civil defense teams recovered the bodies of an entire family from under the rubble of their home. The al-Hosari family home, located near the Abu Halima station in the Shati refugee camp, was completely destroyed by an Israeli airstrike. Rescue workers, who had responded to calls for survivors, confirmed that all family members inside were killed, “thus erasing a new family from the civil registry as a result of the crimes of genocide.”

Expanding Operations and a High-Profile Assassination
The aggression was not confined to the north. In the central Gaza Strip, heavy gunfire was reported around Netzarim, while in the south, the city of Khan Younis was also hit by airstrikes. One strike claimed the life of Brigadier General Jasser al-Mashoukhi, the former director of the Rafah Governorate Police.
Further illustrating the expanding ground operations, the Israeli army detonated a third booby-trapped robot east of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza, a tactic used to destroy structures and tunnel networks.
