Gaza Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday that hospitals received 123 martyrs and 437 wounded in the past 24 hours, raising the total victims since October 7, 2023, to 61,722 martyrs and 154,525 wounded.

The ministry also recorded eight new deaths attributed to famine and malnutrition, including three children, bringing the overall number of famine-related fatalities to 201.

The ministry said continued attacks on aid distribution points left 21 aid seekers dead and 185 wounded in the last day. Local reporting said an Israeli airstrike struck the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, and that 10 civilians were martyred near the al-Tina aid center southwest of Khan Yunis.

Palestinian sources added that Israeli enemy tanks opened heavy fire in central Khan Yunis, signaling an ongoing escalation on the ground.
