In a devastating 24-hour period, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported the deaths of 29 Palestinians and injuries to 300 others as they awaited essential aid. Al-Awda Hospital, located in northern Gaza, confirmed the arrival of 11 fatalities, including a woman, and 78 wounded, following a series of attacks targeting civilian gatherings at aid distribution points south of Wadi Gaza and in central regions of the Strip.

Five martyrs also arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza Strip as a result of shelling that targeted a tent housing displaced persons west of Khan Yunis.
The director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, Mohammed Abu Salmiya, confirmed that the hospital is now recording deaths every day due to starvation, as the bodies of children and the elderly have emaciated.
Abu Salmiya urged global attention on the dire conditions within hospitals and the homes of those suffering from the lack of basic necessities. Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, echoed these concerns, warning of rampant malnutrition and the likelihood of rising mortality rates linked to it. He called for urgent action to remedy the health crises and to end the occupation’s alleged policy of deliberate starvation, emphasizing, “We lack water, food, and medicine, and the health sector is on the verge of collapse.”

In the same context, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that 60% of its vehicles have stopped operating in all governorates of the Gaza Strip due to a lack of sufficient fuel and maintenance parts for repair.
He stated that he had been able to secure a small amount of fuel from some humanitarian and relief organizations, amounting to no more than 15% of the daily professional requirement.
He said, “We are now combining responses to some daily tasks that do not pose a direct threat to citizens’ lives, while postponing others, which puts us facing a major humanitarian disaster.”
