During his first official visit to Kermanshah Province on Wednesday, Iranian President Pezeshkian defiantly declared that the nation’s unwavering resolve cannot be shaken by the relentless threats and pressure it has endured for nearly five decades.
In a powerful speech before local elites, intellectuals and cultural luminaries, the president passionately highlighted the Iranian people’s resilience, honor, bravery, patience and spirit of sacrifice that have allowed them to withstand 47 years of adversaries’ futile attempts to undermine the Islamic Republic.

Pezeshkian vehemently rejected accusations labeling Iran as a source of regional instability, pointing to the hypocrisy of critics who have inflicted immense suffering on defenseless populations like in Gaza, where 60,000 women and children have perished in bombings and been deprived of basic necessities like water and medicine. He asserted that the true roots of Iran’s challenges lie in the unjust policies of sanctions, economic terrorism, warmongering and destruction advocated by hostile foreign powers.
Addressing the assassinations of Iranian scientists, the president pointedly noted that the perpetrators were not Iranians, but the very same entities now hurling accusations at Iran.

He lambasted the extensive resources pooled by the US and its allies in a vain effort to sow internal division, emphasizing their fundamental failure to grasp the indomitable spirit of the brave Iranian people who cannot be defeated.
Pezeshkian underscored Iran’s steadfast commitment to regional cooperation, citing its treaties of brotherhood and friendship with neighboring countries and categorical rejection of territorial expansion. Iran’s sole aim, he affirmed, is to elevate the dignity and pride of its people – a conviction deeply rooted in the nation’s history and culture. While the Islamic Republic does not seek conflict, it will never sacrifice its self-respect for the false promise of peace.
The president called for national unity among all Iranians, regardless of language, religion or belief, as the key to powerfully building the nation. He urged citizens to strive to be an inspiring regional example, as envisioned by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Pezeshkian concluded by dismissing threats as mere illusions nurtured by Iran’s adversaries, pointing to the atrocities and aggression of the Zionist regime against Palestinians as evidence of the true source of instability. With a unified populace, he declared, Iran will continue to rise and develop into a thriving, prosperous nation.
