Israeli enemy warplanes launched after midnight on Wednesday a series of air strikes that targeted several towns across south Lebanon.
The simultaneous raids the Israeli warplanes carried out targeted southern Lebanese towns of Khiam, Mhaibib, Kfar Shouba, Ayta Al-Shaab, Ramieh, Kawthariyat Al-Sayyad, Kfar Kila, and Wadi Al-Azziya as well as the outskirts of Zebqin, Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported.
Israeli occupation forces confirmed the strikes on Thursday, claiming the warplanes hit alleged Hezbollah sites.
Earlier, the Israeli attacks coincided with sirens sounds at the bases of the UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon. The air raid sirens were reportedly of level 3 which is for mass evacuations and shelter warning.
Later on Thursday, Israeli warplanes were spotted flying on low altitude over several Lebanese areas, including the southern suburb of Beirut, Dahiyeh.
