Hezbollah Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Qassem said US envoy Amos Hochstein’s visit to Beirut is aimed at flaunting, stressing that the Lebanese resistance group’s retaliation to the assassination of senior Jihadi commander Fuad Shokr is inevitable.
In an interview with Al-Manar on Thursday, Sheikh Qassem said: “US envoy Amos Hochstein’s visit is aimed at flaunting more than any other thing. He wants to say that the US is acting. However, he offers nothing. He hasn’t offered no substantial suggestions.”
“They (the US) want to say that they are acting, but the reality is that it’s a vicious circle and there is no specific vision so far,” Sheikh Qassem told Al-Manar correspondent in Beirut.

Meanwhile, the senior Hezbollah official reiterated that the Lebanese resistance group will retaliate to the assassination of commander Fuad Shokr.
“The retaliation is a decision, and this decision will be implemented God willing.”
Hochstein visited Beirut on Wednesday, where he met Speaker Berri and other Lebanese officials.
