Palestine’s Hamas Resistance Movement issued on Monday a statement to announce that its politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh conducted a telephone call with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and the Egyptian Minister of Intelligence, Mr. Abbas Kamel, informing them of Hamas’s acceptance of their proposal regarding a ceasefire agreement.
Hamas Deputy Chief Khalil Al-Hayya told Al-Jazeera News Channel that the deal will be implemented in three stages of 42 days each, adding that the US President Joe Biden pledged to guarantee the implementation.
Meanwhile, the press office of the Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the war council discussed virtually Hamas approval and decided unanimously to continue the attack on Rafah.
The disturbed statement, however, said that Tel Aviv would dispatch the negotiation team to Cairo in order to exhaust the discussions about a new deal.

Zionist demonstrators demanding the release of the hostages blocked Ayalon Highway near the Hashalom interchange in central Tel Aviv, and clashes have broken out between some protesters and the police.
The Israeli occupation army said it has launched a targeted attack east of Rafah allegedly aimed at Hamas targets. Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance in Gaza fired missile barrages at Sderot, Nir Am and the enclave’s settlements.
