An Israeli drone strike on a car outside the southern Lebanese city of Tyre killed a Hamas member and another person on Wednesday.
The Hamas resistance group’s Lebanon branch announced the death of a member in the drone strike. In an official poster, the movement named the operative as Hadi Ali Mohammad Mustafa, from the nearby Palestinian camp of Rashidieh.
Lebanese media said a second person, a Syrian passing by on a motorcycle, was also martyred in the strike.
Earlier, Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon said that an Israeli drone targeted a car on Naqoura-Tyre Highway.

The attack took place as the car drove down Al-Hosh road, south of Tyre and near the Rashidieh camp, causing it to burst into flames.
Reuters news agency quoted security sources as saying that the Israeli drone hovered in the air above the site of the strike for several minutes after it was carried out.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed it carried out the strike.
In a statement on Telegram, the occupation army described Mustafa as a “significant” Hamas operative who directed cells and advanced attacks against “Israeli and Jewish targets… around the world”.
