A senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) military advisor was martyred in an Israeli regime’s airstrike on the suburb of Damascus.
Senior IRGC commander was martyred after the Zionist regime launched three missiles at his position in the suburbs of the Syrian capital of Damascus, as reported by an Al Mayadeen correspondent.
Some local Syrian sources reported that the Zionist regime attacked a position near Zainabiyah district.
Earlier today on Monday, local sources in Syria reported an airstrike by the Zionist regime on an area in the Zainabiyah district in Damascus, the capital of Syria.
Mousavi is said to have been one of the companions of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, the former IRGC Quds Force commander who was assassinated in an airstrike by the US army in early 2020 near Baghdad airport in Iraq.
In a statement, the IRGC confirmed Mousavi’s martyrdom, saying that he was a brigadier general and “was one of the companions of martyr general Hajj Qassem Suleimani and was in charge of logistics support for the Resistance Front in Syria”.
