Hezbollah Secretary General received Iranian Foreign Minister Houssein Amir Abdollahian, the Lebanese resistance movement announced on Thursday.
Sayyed Nasrallah discussed with the top Iranian diplomat latest developments in Palestine, Lebanon and the region, Hezbollah’s Media Relations said in a statement.
The two men also tackled the “possible scenarios and the efforts exerted in a bid stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip,” read the statement, carried by Al-Manar.
The meeting touched upon the responsibilities shouldered by all sides in this historic and decisive stage for Palestine, its sacred cause and the entire region,” the statement added.
Amir Abdollahian was accompanied by his assistant Medhi Shoushtari and Deputy Iranian Ambassador Sayyed Samadi.
The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Lebanon earlier on Wednesday, in an official visit aimed at holding meeting with Lebanese and Palestinian officials.
