Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council Sayyed Hasahem Safieddine toured the border area with the occupied territories on Sunday, in a clear message of defiance to the Israeli regime.
“We are here in this sensitive point to deliver a clear message that after 40 years we are closer to Palestine and Al-Quds,” Sayyed Safieddine said, as quoted by our correspondent in south Lebanon Ali Shoeib.
“The Zionist entity’s land and sea are within our reach and in the time that we set,” the Hezbollah senior official added, near the cement wall built by the occupation forces at the border town of Kfarkila.
“The Israeli enemy, who hides behind a wall, has to know that someday this wall will no more be existing for we will be inland. This day will inevitably come.”
On the occasion of Hezbollah’s 40th anniversary, Sayyed Safieddine was inaugurating a graffiti project featuring the Resistance martyrs on the cement wall in Kfarkila.
Pictures of around 13 Hezbollah martyrs were painted by pro-Resistance activists on the wall that was built by the occupation regime for fear of Hezbollah’s storming into the occupied territories. To know more about the graffiti project click here.
The inauguration was attended by families of Hezbollah martyrs and other activists.
“Mistaken is who thinks that the Resistance is weak. The Resistance, along with its people, is powerful enough to confront all forms of pressures by the United States,” Sayyed Safieddine addressed the ceremony in south Lebanon.
